On OrgPlus 9 and the New OrgPlus 2012 you can create a base chart and Define the fields you would like on all charts. After creating the base chart with fields save the chart as a Template in the View folder, under My Charts. The next time you create a chart open the Template Panel, select view and then select the View you created.

I have defined 5 fields on one of my charts and was wondering if there was a way to define my custom fields globally so that its automatically in effect whenever I create a new chart?

Products / OrgPlus 8.0 / How can you change a box level without having to include an additional manager?

I need to display an org chart that reflects job classification level, for salary administration purposes. The only way I've been able to do it is by inserting managers on top of my boxes and then hiding those "filler" boxes so all I see is the org chart visually depicting the salary classification structure. Does anyone know any way I can "move" boxes to a lower hierarchical level without having to insert boxes on top (aside from the free drawing tool that does not change the box's level)?

The restart is required due to Windows Installation processes. In many cases the application is not capable of running until the restart is performed.

Hello this question was asked before but not resolved, I am trying to do a silent install of OrgPlus 9 and I have found a way to supress the rebout but if using any of the following switches /qn /qb /quiet or /passive causes a configure window to appear on first launch.
Here is the original post: Hello, We are scripting a silent install for ORGPLUS9 following the information found on your forum page The installation runs correctly, however for the first run of ORGPLUS9 a window "Windows installer" is started and finally we are asked to restart the workstation. We would like to bypass this, so that final users can access directly ORGPLUS at first run without being asked to restart. Could you provide us some kind of help? Regards |

We are testing our HRMS solution on Windows 8 Server. OrgPlus has problems with printing from Windows 8 Server. Will there be a patch prior to OrgPlus 2012 to fix this issue, or do we need to wait it out?
