Using the 'Format' Advanced Data File
« on: August 21, 2008, 06:41:03 PM »

I have created a Excel add-on to format import fields for OrgPlus based on indents in the name column. In this way I maintain hierarchy and it is easy to reformat both the Excel speadsheet and the OP chart with only a couple of clicks. I am using the following command in the 'Format' field, but I would like to restrict the 'wordwrap' to two lines during the import.

font="[Name],Arial Narrow,8,normal,center,vcenter,wordwrap,green"

Does anyone know what needs to be added to the above command to force the word wrap to two lines during import without having to edit 488 boxes from the GUI?

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

I have done some research and unfortunately I have beenunable to find a way to specify the line limit in the Format field. This may need to be done through the GUI. You can use conditional formats to limit the amount of time it would take to apply this to the boxes that need it.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

I have done a bit more research and still haven't been able to find any formatting for the field text. I am going to check with the developers and confirm whether this is a possibility with the software. I will update you as soon as I have found anything.

Thanks for your efforts.  The funny thing is the option "wordwrap" isn't documented in the manual or the advance guide, but it works. I am hoping that there is an option (documented or undocumented) to control the number of lines.
