Font size in box properties vs. printed page
«
on:

My chart boxes have lots of room in them (empty space top/bottom/sides) but the software keeps using a very small font (8pt?) even though I am specifying a larger font size for all fields.
When printed, centered chart on page has ample room on top/bottom but sides are tight.
I have played around with fixed vs. auto-sizing on both chart properties and box properties but doesn't seem to have much effect - box sizes change some but fonts still stay small.
How can I force the software to use larger fonts?
Thanks.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.
Its hard to say what could be causing this issue. Could you send your chart to
benu@orgplus.com
? I can take a look at see what may be causing the font size to appear so small.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.
I received your email and after reviewing the chart I have found the trouble. It seems the box sizing was the cause of the problem. Because the boxes were so large the chart was being scaled down to fit in the page. When the font was increased the boxes would also increase to accomadate the larger font and scaling would prevent any visible change from occurring. To correct the problem please follow the steps below:
1. Select a box in the chart.
2. Select Box Properties from teh Format menu.
3. Go to the Box Sizing Tab.
4. Select Min/Max Width.
5. Set width to 2. (You can leave Max Width blank)
6. Select Minimum Height.
7. Set Height to 1.
8. Select Apply To Entire Chart.
9. Select the Apply button.
10. Select Auto Width and Auto Height.
11. Select the OK button.
Your boxes should return to a normal size and the font should not be scaled down anymore.
If you'd rather have the boxes keep the same shape you can use the Format Fields option from the Format menu to apply font sizes to Fields for the entire chart.
