DatabaseError: src=ADODB.Recordset, descr=
« on: November 27, 2007, 10:27:15 AM »

The connection cannot be used to perform this operation.
It is either closed or invalid in this context.

DatabaseError: src=ADODB.Connection, descr=Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

I keep getting these errors when I try to Publish?

Dear Chris,

Thank you for contacting the support team.

What source are you publishing to when this error is displayed? Also, which build of OrgPlus 7 are you utilizing? (Help-About OrgPlus 7)

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.

Publish to an OrgPlus Plugin on a network drive the same as always.
The version is:
PrgPlus 7.0 Professional 250
001-005-0070 Build 554
Actually trying to do anything with Data or publish on the machine brings up the Error Alert dilog boxes.

I'm at a loss. I've even gone through checking to make sure MDAC was installed properly.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the software, updated Framework security updates from windows update and still the same error?

Thanks

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

On reviewing the above case in our system the solution to this issue appears to be updating your MDAC driver from Microsoft's website.

MDAC update link:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/data/aa937730.aspx

If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at op.support@orgplus.com.

When I install MDAC 2.8 from that link it says...

"MDAC 2.8 RTM is incompatible with this version of Windows (I have Windows XP). All of its features are currently part of Windows. "

Is there something else that I need?

Thanks
