Dear Tasharue,

If you have a manager that is the head of two separate departments are they in the database twice as such? Under the Data-Define Fields you would also need to enable to "Duplicates" option.

If you still have a problem displaying the data correctly don't hesitate to contact us at 888-821-1261 Extension 3000, or you can Email us at op.support@orgplus.com.

I do not have the manager in the database twice as I want to be able to calculate a headcount and assumed that if I had the manager in twice OrgPlus would then count it twice and give me an incorrect count.  If I enter the manager twice and enable duplicates, will this solve my problem?  Thanks.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

Keeping an accurate headcount should not be a problem. Once you add the duplicate record and import the new database information, you can tell one of the records to be excluded from headcounts. To exclude a record from headcounts please follow the steps below:

1. Select the box.
2. Select Format.
3. Select Box Properties.
4. Go to the Advanced tab.
5. Select the exclude from counts check box.
6. Select OK.

If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at op.support@orgplus.com.

Sincerely,
