Chart not showing all fields after import
«

I have a command file that generates a series of charts from Excel spreadsheets that contain a number of fields. When I use OrgPlus 5 to generate the charts, all of the fields are displayed in the boxes. When I use OrgPlus 7, only the name and title fields are displayed. I must then open each chart, select "Show > Hidden Fields" and then save the chart. This is time consuming and defeats the purpose of automating the process. This also happens if I try importing the data manually. Is there a way to make "Show > Hidden Fields" the default for charts that are created using the command line or import function?

Dear Je.Stevens,
Thank you for contacting the support team.
When importing into OrgPlus either through the command line or through the user interface of OrgPlus, all of the fields do not appear in the boxes by default. To combat this you can apply a template that does show all of the available fields that you would like displayed in your chart:
1. After importing your data, select View | Show | Hidden Fields.
2. Choose File | Save As | OrgPlus 7 Template File (.opxt)
You can now apply this template to your subsequent imports using the following command line syntax. Here is an example of how it would appear:
OrgPlus7.exe "C:\Documents and Settings\Scott\My Documents\My Charts\Advanced Data Sample2.xls" -q -y -tdbol "C:\Documents and Settings\Scott\My Documents\My Charts\Advanced Data Sample2.opxt"
Here are the definitions of the switches I used.
-q = suppresses the import process
-y = suppresses the message "This file already exists would you like to override it"
-t = Specify <Template File> to apply after import.
-d = Apply design template.
-b = Apply branch template.
-o = Overwrite existing elements.
-l = Apply box template.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Scott,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I tried your suggestion and followed the steps in your reply but could not get that to work. I also tried applying the template from within OrgPlus after the chart was created and that did not work either. I am using the exact same data to create the template and the chart, which I would think would be an ideal proof-of-concept test. Any other suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Je.Steves,
Would you be able to contact me at the number below so I can help you through the process? We can setup an online meeting to review the problem.
