For now I'm using the free version 7 and I have a chart that looked fine this morning, but after adding more boxes the character spacing seems to have gone from normal to a half space overlap so that the entries are impossible to read. I can't seem to find a way to correct the spacing. Any suggestions?

The squishing of the text in PowerPoint or Word is caused by manually adjusting the size of a chart object in PowerPoint or Word. If you manually resize the chart when you make changes it can cause the squishing of the text. Additional manual adjustment of the chart size can improve the text condition, but there is currently no fix for this other than re-creating the chart.
