I'm trying to build an orgchart for a company with 250 headcount. And unfortunately structure is alittle bit complicated.

For example our HR manager works with two chiefs and 34 employees. Also these employees works in 9 different titles and they are distributed to these titles unevenly. I can import these guys into orgchart by combining according to titles. Everyone goes where they are supposed to go. But when I try to apply a template to chart, everything goes awry and these different titles with more than one employees whose managers are same, merges in one box and under a random title. Then I have 18 men under same title (they supposed to be different). Is anyone can help me?

It sounds like when you are applying the template it is placing those multi-record boxes in the same chart style. When two multi-record are placed in the same chart style they will combine and the title chosen to display is the title of whichever employee is first in the multi-record box. You can take names out of a multi-record box by selecting their individual names and dragging them up to their manager and dropping them as subordinates. They will appear outside the multi-record box in individual boxes, but these can be recombined by following the steps below.

1. Select all the individual boxes.
2. Go to Format and select Box Properties
3. Go to the Box Layout tab.
4. Select the Layout Options button.
5. Check the Multi-Record check box.
6. Select Ok until you return to the chart.

Please also note that this issue has been corrected in OrgPlus 8. Two multi-record boxes cannot be placed in the same chart style. The program will prevent this from occurring.

It did work but not as much as undo. Finally I had a visual like I had never used combining option. Because I also need to see them in title groups and when I try to recombine them by multirecord boxes and give them a template same problem occurs. And for I'm out of budget already can't get an upgrade too So is there a way to do this in  Ver.7? I can send you my files by email if you wish to see the problem more clearly.
