Is there a way to open a 2nd chart without closing the first one

Yes, you can have multiple charts open at the same time. If you open one chart and then open a second chart, the second chart will be what is displayed in OrgPlus, but both are still open. If you want to switch your view to the other chart select Window. You will see a list displayed of New Window, Cascade, Tile, Stack, and then a list of open charts. You can select different file names to switch which chart is displayed.
