Source Data problem
« on: October 13, 2004, 08:34:06 AM »

I have recently moved to a new computer, and reloaded OrgPlus 5 on the new desktop. When I open my OPX file that uses an Excel file as it's source data the OPX file doesn't contain the information about this source data (i.e. no way to refresh the data). where is this information contained so that I don't have to rebuild the chart everytime I reload my PC or move the program to another PC?

Dear tburnett,

The information you are looking for is found in the OrgPlus.mdb file, located in your Application Data folder.

Typically, this can be found by opening OrgPlus 5 | Help | System Information. Towards the bottom of that screen, you will see the path of the Application Data Folder. Within that folder, there is an Access file, entitled, OrgPlus.mdb. Inside that file contains all the information attached to the data import and the adapters used to connect your chart to the data source.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
The OrgPlus Support Team
