I am trying to create a chart in which administrative assistants report directly to an office manager, but "administratively" support 2-3 managers whom are at the same level or above the office manager. So they are shared by managers. When I try to draw dotted lines, this looks so busy on the chart and the reporting relationships are not very clear. I really do not want to list each asst 3+ times on the chart, especially since this chart lists positions not people, thus no names to identify them and would like there are more assts than there actually are. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to use the auxiliary line tool? If you do not want them in the chart other time, and do not want other lines there aren't really any other options.
