I have created OrgChart based on sql-query (according to the document OP-0500-S1105 - OrgPlus 5 - Data Refresh) but menu item Data - Refresh Data is disabled.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

In OrgPlus 5.0 (build 137) to be able to refresh you must have unique field. In OrgPlus 5.1 (build 168) you do not need to have this. Please follow these steps to re-create your chart with the ability to refresh.

A) Re-install OrgPlus:

1.  Go to the Control Panel
2.  Select Add and Remove Programs
3.  Select HumanConcepts
4.  Select Uninstall OrgPlus
5.  Run the Eval Fix program at the link below to clean out all OrgPlus registration information in your registry: http://www.humanconcepts.com/evalfix/EvalFix5.exe
6.  Go to "c:\Program Files" and delete the folder "OrgPlus 5 Setup"
7.  Click on the link below to download and reinstall OrgPlus: http://www.humanconcepts.com/products/maintenancedownload.htm
8.  Enter the registered email address and unlock code.


B) Saving as a template

1) Open your old chart.
2) Go to File | Save as... | Change the type to a Template

C) Re-import your data.
D) Re-Apply your Template.

1) Go to Chart | Apply Template File
2) Browse for you template file and choose Open.
3) Choose Contents and put a check in every box.
4) Click Ok

Now your new chart should look close to your old one, and have the ability to refresh.
