Hi all,

Is it possible to install orgviewer.exe silently and unattended?

We are trying to roll it out and we have some group policy issues preventing users from downloading the plugin from the internet or a local server.

We'd like to be able to push out the orgviewer executable automatically on shutdown as an interim measure until we get the Group policies sorted out.

You can deploy OrgViewer to either your servers or leave it on ours, publish your charts to OrgViewer and then distribute the resulting htm page to your users. Once the users view the htm page, if they do not have OrgViewer, they will be prompted to download it (from wherever you choose it to be).

If I'm understanding you correctly you would like this download to take place with no prompting to the user. Unfortunately, the browser is asking the user if they would like to download, as opposed to OrgViewer asking, so we cannot change this aspect of the install.

The only other solution I can think of is for you to install OrgViewer after hours on everyone's machine.

yes, it is possible to install orgviewer.exe silently and unattended by using SMS installation. In this way we have installed orgviewer to several thousands of our users.
