I am importing from a SQL DB and want to know if there is a way to filter out certain records based on a specific field in the DB.

Specifically, I want to have active and inactive records in the DB and filter out the inactive records upon data import.

Is there a way to do this or even just hide the inactive records on import?

An easy way to accomplish this is to create a view in SQL that contains the data that you want to import, excluding the inactive records. Then when you import to OrgPlus, import from that view.
