On the Export/Import functionality with Excel...
During export to Excel the columns 'Reports to' and 'position' should be automatically created. Then it would be more seamless to exchange data with Excel. For example, if I create a chart in OrgPlus, I should be able to export to Excel change some data without creating any 'position' or 'reports to' and then re-import. Excel should be a seamless tool to be used when manipulating a table is more efficient than individual boxes on a chart. Also, once I have this capability it should be coupled with 'Import Refresh' so that I do not have to go through the Import Wizard. In other words, if it comes from OrgPlus to Excel, it should be able to be imported automatically.

Set color from Excel import...
I have a case where I have people within a group that need to be identified by a different color. There are 96 people in my organization, of which 34 are hired through a special program called CSI. They are interspersed throughout the orgchart. When I import from Excel I have to reset the color on all the CSI people. It would be nice to have a 'text color' column in Excel that would denote the color on import.

I would like to see the ability to hyperlink to other documents in each published page - for instance - I have a reorgaization of our IT shop in which I would like to list department descriptions and job descriptions via HTML

Level Field

One feature still missing from V5 is a level field. Basicaly a calculation field representing the level that a box appears in the chart.

1. OrgPlus 7 offeres hyperlinks which you can edit to point to specific locations.

2. If you are importing the data, the level of the box in a chart is dependant on their position within their company. In OrgPlus 7, you can demote a box by right clicking and choosing action, then demote. However, this will only allow you to demote one level within the organzation. If you are creating this manually, then you can create the boxes where you need them placed.
